be a spitfire.

the sunlight peeked through my blinds this morning for just enough time to wake me up but is now in hiding. this week has been painfully hectic and busy; i'm counting the seconds to sunday.

this past weekend was quite eventful. i'm proud to say the spartans beat the wolverines. sunday marked the start of recruitment and as the recruitment chair for my sorority, theta, i've been tight on free time.

women in the military have always inspired me. these pictures embody the strength women during this time had. i was talking with my best friend cate this morning about her "oni," who served as a nurse in egypt. as cate told me, "it was pretty titties because she was one of the first women to attend her college in missouri." these women hold a warm place in my heart and i commend them for stepping up and breaking the gender role barrier.

mccallister boots are a millitary inspired must.
if you need these too, visit J.Crew and order 2 sizes smaller.

love the military inspired jackets

i hope you all enjoy your week and enjoy the colorful leaves.

Hey Gally! I love this military post you wrote. I agree, women in the military are very inspirational! I mean just look at that military jacket, it's so in and very chic. I would don one myself! I think that's a staple for a closet right now.
