Well it's official, and definitely official because I'm publishing it on my blog, on the internet: I have decided to train -seriously this time- for a marathon. my really great friend, Kenny (really Alex), just recently ran the detriot marathon. i've never seen someone with so much determination as well as dedication to her goal. she did fabulous and has a brilliant medal to sport. I've always tossed around the idea of training since my bomb-ass sister ran the Chicago Marathon a few years back. I just ate swirlberry, a bag of sour cream and cheddar chips and a various assortment of candy. I suppose that was my last and final endulgence. ok, probably not but I'd like to think of it that way. So kudos to Kenny for boosting my spirits and hopefully my metabolism.
On another super great note, I just got an e-mail from Tom's Shoes. I'M GOING TO BE A CAMPUS REPRESENTATIVE IN THE SPRING FOR TOMS SHOES. Talk about dream job- yes, I just jumped up and down on my bed then proceded to call everyone in my phonebook. Being a Campus Representative for Tom's Shoes is a great opportunity to volunteer for something I truely believe in and a great way to network with those who love to give back- just like me :) From what I understand there will be a group of us that promote and create brand awareness for good ol' TOM at MSU. straight titties.
My Inspiration For the Week:
This weekend was interesting. I consumed more alcoholic beverages than I did food or water. My brain is still cloudy and my eyes still foggy. Needless to say, I had a good time. However, this weekend is the real steak and potatoes- MSU is acutally letting us have a night game. Who? What? When? Where? Why? And sometimes How? I think we all find this privlage a bit surreal. Since I can remember, We've had noon game at State; In hopes to seemingly decrease alcohol consumption, HA. No, Mr. MSU, instead we wake up at 6:30/ 7:00 a.m. to partake in a maltitude of tailgating activities, all focused around the unspoken (not)-- drinking. Ok, I'm generalizing the whole campus, but seriously.. it's what we do. GO GREEN. BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP? Eh, Eh? (I'm nudging you "big brother")
Tay and I at Tailgate!
penguin dance or touchdown?
Well until we all meet again, which will hopefully be soon. Au Revoir. If I can ask you a favor, can we all wish to the sky that the sun shines a bit more? I hope you all have an enjoyable and inspirational day. xo
